Asbestos Solutions provides three types of survey. We follow HSG 264 which details areas of best practice and the types of asbestos containing material, which may be found within premises. Our surveyors are fully trained and are certified by BOHS and have completed the necessary P402 training.
The three types of surveys are:
Presumptive Survey
This is based on a visual inspection. PEACE OF MIND, UNIQUELY WE PROVIDE A FREE SURVEY.
Asbestos Management Survey
Its purpose is to locate as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACM’s in the building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, and to assess their condition. Small samples are normally taken and we always use a UKAS accredited laboratory
Refurbishment and Demolition Survey
A refurbishment and demolition survey is needed before any refurbishment or demolition work is carried out. The survey will be fully intrusive and involve destructive inspection, as necessary, to gain access to all areas, including those that may be difficult to reach. This survey is compulsory to all premises when any refurbishment or demolition work is carried out.
All our asbestos samples are tested at a UKAS certified laboratory.
